Ruth Lyles, wife of Bill Lyles of the Blackwood Brothers Quartet, went home to be with the Lord about midnight last night. The funeral will be held Wendesday, April 25, 2001 at Memorial Park Funeral Home in Memphis, TN at 2:00 pm.

After reportedly not feeling well for the past week, James Blackwood has been diagnosed with colon cancer. James is still recovering from a stroke he suffered in December and continues to suffer from pain and swelling associated with the stroke. At approximately 5:45 PM Monday afternoon, Jeff and Sherry Steele were involved in a major head on collision not far from their home in Gallatin, TN.
